Despite the fact that the biggest T20 League in the world is organized in India, the performance of the Indian team in this format of the game has not been that encouraging in the last 3 or 4 years. They won the inaugural T20 World Championship in South Africa in 2007, but, after that, this team hasn’t achieved a lot in the shortest form of the game.

Let’s come and see what is the current composition of the Indian T20 team and how strong do they look for the T20 World Championship 2014 which is coming up in a few months.

Batting has always been a strong point of the Indian team and the current scenario is no different. The men is Blue have got one of the most exciting batting line ups in the world.

The most delightful thing about India’s batting line up is that it consists of versatile players. There are guys who can clear any ground, but, at the same time, they can play steady single-double sort of cricket as well.

It’s a department in which India is struggling at the moment. If you look at the fast bowlers that they have got, you will not find a single bowler who can get the ball in the block hole regularly. As far as spinners are concerned, India has got a couple of good options and on slow tracks in Bangladesh, they might come handy.

Fielding is something which India has improved a lot off late. They young guys have come into the squad and they have shown tremendous energy level.
